Sitting at the station we hear the tones sound
we watch as our friends go do there job to fight the devil again.
Jumping in there turn out gear seeing the concern in their eyes
we pray that God keeps them safe and close by his side.
As they hop in the trucks turn the lights on
cars clear out of the way for they know what's going on.
Down the road they go the lights disappear into the night
they pray everything will turn out alright.
After the devil is faught and everyones alright
they thank God for another safe night.
My friends are dedicated to what they do,
no matter the place, time, or cause.
Thank God for firefighters no matter what anyone says
they are always there to do there best.
